We’re in Figueretas, just a step away from Ibiza Town, with a sea-view terrace and that atmosphere that naturally calls for dessert. This section is designed to pair with the island’s sweets: Ibicencan Mediterranean cooking is also about sobremesa. Here, two things lead the way: a great coffee and a well-chosen infusion… and, if you take our advice, café caleta (very typical). In summer, we pay extra attention to the beverages side of things because it changes the rhythm of the day — afternoon, evening, and sobremesa. We prepare coffees with a clean extraction and fast service, and infusions with just the right steeping time so they come out aromatic and never bitter. If you fancy something cold, we make it easy with ice so it still tastes like coffee — not “water”. And because we like everything to fit together, our Ibiza drinks menu sits alongside our beverages and waters list, so you always have a plan. WHAT TO KNOW WHEN CHOOSING THE BEST COFFEES AND INFUSIONS

Three keys to get it right: (1) think about which dessert you’re going to order, (2) choose the intensity depending on the time of day, and (3) decide whether you want it hot or over ice. Our favourite is café caleta, because it’s tradition and it gives your sobremesa a bit of history. If you’re after something gentle, camomile is highly recommended to round off the day. And if you want something fresh and summery, iced coffee is the one people reorder most when the night is still warm. On our terrace, the plan works whether you’re coming from Eivissa Town or staying near the beach.
